Although the above comment is clearly an attempt to get some free advertising, I let it through because I think a bit of training on how to tow caravans might be a good thing, especially on leaving enough room when passing cyclists.

Hi Ed, if you push it and stick to the main road (A57) I should think you could do it in 3-4 hours. For a more pleasant ride you need to add on an hour or two. It’s the hills that slow you down of course!

Hi this might seem lke a daft question but how long do you reckon Manchester / Sheffield would take? I am an averagely fit 100kg guy with an average bike..I reckon I can do 40 / kmh hour on the flat.thanks
